The All Star Accounting Professionals (ASAP) organization and its members value diversity and inclusion.

By joining ASAP and renewing annually, all members acknowledge and agree with the following Code of Conduct:

We resolve to be respectful to others so that all can be heard.  We have patience when anyone in our community might offend another.  We have awareness that leadership, members, guests, and speakers are all shaped from diverse backgrounds and experiences that contribute to our community.  We refrain from swearing, yelling, personal attacks, and diminishing others for their views, culture, orientation, religion, or anything else.   We acknowledge our community’s established guidelines to assist in conflict resolution as noted below.

If conflict arises during organizational events:   In the moment of the conflict, ASAP leadership will acknowledge the conflict & each person’s point of view.  ASAP leadership will commit to make space to handle this conflict at another time to both allow the planned educating & collaborating to continue, as well as give the issues arisen a time for focused attention.   As determined during future conversations, when appropriate, key learnings will be reported back to the larger group during regular organizational events, to support growth of all in the community.

If conflict arises at any time:   Everyone in the ASAP community is encouraged to bring concerns that arise to ASAP leadership directly.  If for any reason there is a desire for anonymity, ASAP has an anonymous link on the ASAP website footer.
